How long does it take to heat the hot tub? The time it takes to heat depends on what temperature the water starts at, how cold it is outside and the volume of water in your tub. A 1.5m Nordic Concepts hot tub takes on average 3 hours to heat up from cold to a comfortable 39°C while the 1.9m hot tub can take on average 4 hours.

How much firewood does a hot tub take? Wood fired hot tubs require dry firewood to operate. A Nordic Concepts hot tub will take approximately 8-12 pieces of firewood depending on the temperature you are wanting to achieve and how cold the water and air are.

Where is the best spot for a hot tub?

Hot Tubs and Saunas are great next to swimming pools or on decks. They are also fantastic when surrounded in bush or gardens. It really depends on your site. The only consideration is to have a concrete pad, solid deck or floor as a foundation.

How do I empty the Hot Tub?

A drain fitting is located on the bottom of the tub. Connected to this drain fitting is a hose with a valve. Your garden hose can connect to the valve for easy draining.

The water is safe to drain onto your garden as there are no chemicals used in our Hot Tubs.

How much maintenance and cleaning does a Hot Tub need?

We recommend using fresh water each time you use your Hot Tub. Nordic Concepts Hot Tubs don’t require any chemicals. You can give them a light scrub or wipe them down with a cloth.

What accessories come with a Hot Tub?

Nordic Concepts Hot Tubs come with steps, fire safety guard, drinks holder, stirrer and ash scoop.

What are Hot Tubs made out of and how long will they last? Nordic Concepts Hot Tubs are made from Spruce. As wood is a natural material it will require a little attention but nothing more than a fresh coat of oil every 1-2 years. The fire box and external bands are made from durable stainless steel. The metal resists wear, damage and corrosion and never rusts, cracks or stains.
